School Readiness
School readiness is more than letters and numbers. Our preschool program develops the confidence, curiosity, communication, independence and learning habits children need for a positive transition to school.

Development Focus
What matters at this stage.
Learning dispositions
Children practise concentration, persistence, planning, problem-solving and asking for help.
Literacy & numeracy
Stories, sounds, names, symbols, counting, patterns, measurement and spatial thinking grow through meaningful play.
Independence & belonging
Children manage routines, contribute to groups, care for belongings and express needs with growing confidence.
How We Support Learning
Care, play and teaching work together.
Daily rhythm
The day includes long play periods, intentional small groups, project work, outdoor challenge, shared responsibilities and quiet time.
Learning environment
Writing, books, numbers, science, construction, art, loose parts and dramatic play are embedded across the room—not isolated as worksheets.
Educator role
Degree-qualified and experienced educators teach intentionally, notice each child’s strengths and adjust challenge so success remains achievable.
Learning in Action
Ready for school, ready for life.
We build foundations that transfer: listening in a group, explaining an idea, recovering from frustration, making a friend, completing a task and feeling capable.
Outcomes
Growing capability and confidence.
Confident participation
Children contribute ideas, listen to others and take an active role in group learning.
Practical independence
Self-care, organisation and responsible choices support the move into a school day.
Foundational knowledge
Emerging literacy, numeracy and inquiry skills develop in connected, age-appropriate ways.
